There is conviction, and then there is this. The Titans took Malachi Lawrence a full 25 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Tate pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
