EvieCarli DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks
Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall
B
ValueA-
NeedB
TradesB-
FutureB-
Larceny in the 64th pick lands the Seahawks a B, Styles and all. The rest of the league will want that one back. Sonny Styles tumbling to the Seahawks in No. 64 is a gift they did not have to think twice about.
They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The back end got a real overhaul.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Avieon Terrell
In the 32nd pick they get a sticky cover corner at a price that makes it sweeter. More want than need.
Pick64
Rnd2
Sonny Styles
Taking Sonny Styles in slot 64 is close to grand larceny; a linebacker that good had no business lasting this long. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick96
Rnd3
Skyler Bell
A quiet steal in the Round 3 slot: Skyler Bell for less than the market said. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick211
Rnd6
Conner Weigman
They let Conner Weigman come to them and pounced at pick 211. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
