You can hear the double-takes from here. The Eagles took Jalen Thompson at slot 213, roughly 79 spots before his name belonged.

However the rest shakes out, Bernard at that price is a win they earned. The safety hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Good work on the whole, with safety the one box left unchecked.
