The Eagles spent real capital to be 100 picks early on Patrick Payton, and the board is going to hold them to it. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

Cooper Jr. at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 7 of 9 of the wish list covered.
