The steal of the weekend belongs to the Lions and Mesidor: B.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Lions watched Akheem Mesidor slide 156 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. The bottom line is a respectable B.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
