The tape said wait; the Jets did not. Trey Moore went at the 140th overall pick, a good 47 picks before the board was ready. It lands right in the middle: a C-, no more, no less.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

They will answer for taking linebacker early while quarterback and running back went begging. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Johnson.
