The Cardinals bled value on every deal, hence the D.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Cardinals shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
