A respectable, level-headed haul for the Jaguars: B-.

The needs board said one thing and the Jaguars did another, using pick 119 on Kenyatta Jackson Jr. while tight end waited. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Payton. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 8 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
