Draft Grade — Jets

Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Jets. Everything else got attention, and quarterback got none. That is a strange way for the Jets to leave a draft.
Every board in the league had Thieneman lower, and that gap is the story. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 2 of 8 of the wish list covered. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick Analysis
Pick2
Rnd1
David Bailey
In slot 2 they get juice off the edge. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick16
Rnd1
Dillon Thieneman
In the Round 1 slot they get a two-high chess piece, though the board says they badly overpaid. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
