Mendoza is the Raiders' new face under center. Grade: B.

The rest of the league had time to spare on Eric O'Neill; the Raiders did not wait, grabbing him 76 spots ahead at the Round 6 slot.

Whatever Fernando Mendoza becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

It is not that Rodriguez is a bad player; it is that the Raiders had louder needs to answer first. On value alone, Virgil makes the weekend a net positive.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.
