There is conviction, and then there is this. The Panthers took Roderick Kearney a full 67 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. A mixed bag that lands at C+.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through cornerback. Stowers at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
