The Giants let Rivers fall into their laps, and walked away with a D+.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Giants shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. Hard to defend, and the D+ reflects that.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Getting Rivers where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.
