TW52 DRAFTING FOR THERavens
Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall
C+
ValueC

FutureB-
Some hits, some head-scratchers, and a C+ for the Ravens. There is a lot to like until you notice cornerback is still a hole. The Ravens never got to the one that mattered most.
Overton has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.
Pick Analysis
Pick14
Rnd1
Sonny Styles
In slot 14 they get a downhill thumper at linebacker, even if it was a touch early. Need was not the driver here.
Pick45
Rnd2
LT Overton
A conviction pick on LT Overton at pick No. 45 that the board grades a round light. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick80
Rnd3
Zachariah Branch
Zachariah Branch in No. 80 is fair value, right on his grade. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick115
Rnd4
Keylan Rutledge
They paid sticker price for Keylan Rutledge in the Round 4 slot, and that is fine. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
