Draft Grade — Browns
Overall
A-
ValueB

TradesA+
FutureA+
The Browns won the night they stopped Lew from sliding. Grade: A-. When a board-topper like Connor Lew slides to the 107th pick, you do not overthink it, and the Browns did not. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.
The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Kenyon Sadiq and all.
Pick Analysis
Pick24
Rnd1
Kenyon Sadiq
In the 24th overall pick they get a moveable chess piece at tight end. A real need, handled.
Pick39
Rnd2
Emmanuel Pregnon
No edge and no loss on Emmanuel Pregnon in No. 39; it is a wash and a sensible one. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick70
Rnd3
Omar Cooper Jr.
A slide stopped in pick No. 70, with Omar Cooper Jr. worth more than the price. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick107
Rnd4
Connor Lew
The board fumbled Connor Lew all the way to slot 107, and they scooped it up. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick133
Rnd4
Will Lee III
They let Will Lee III come to them and pounced at pick 133. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick139
Rnd4
Chris McClellan
They took Chris McClellan at par in Round 4, Pick 39, which is nothing to complain about. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick141
Rnd5
Dametrious Crownover
Dametrious Crownover in the Round 5 slot is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick146
Rnd5
Hezekiah Masses
Hezekiah Masses slid further than he should have, and the 146th pick is lovely value for the cornerback. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick149
Rnd5
Isaiah World
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Isaiah World at Round 5, Pick 9. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick206
Rnd6
Sawyer Robertson
Good price on Sawyer Robertson in pick No. 206, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick248
Rnd7
Fa'alili Fa'amoe
Fa'alili Fa'amoe in pick 248 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
