The Bengals ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided.

They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Brown pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
