You build a draft on nights like this. CJ Allen had no business being available in the 71st pick, and the Commanders did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

They will need Foster to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
