The Panthers treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the 83rd overall pick on Mikail Kamara a full 24 spots early.

They banked enough surplus on Moten to cover a lot of smaller sins. They will regret leaving safety for another day if the season turns on it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

Good work on the whole, with safety the one box left unchecked.
