The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Chiefs reached some 21 spots for Chris McClellan, and value like that does not grow back.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. However the rest shakes out, Wilson at that price is a win they earned. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
