Draft Grade — Titans
Overall
B-
ValueB-
NeedB-
TradesB-
FutureB-
The Titans kept it disciplined and banked a B-. You can draft well and still miss the point. The Titans did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to offensive lineman, which was the need that mattered most. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.
The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
Pick Analysis
Pick4
Rnd1
Arvell Reese
In pick 4 they get a coverage-and-run second-level piece. A real need, handled.
Pick35
Rnd2
Chris Bell
Chris Bell at the 35th overall pick nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
