The Chargers lost the trade table, and the C- tells the story.

The Chargers clearly saw something nobody else did in Demon Clowney, taking him 121 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They banked enough surplus on Wheatley to cover a lot of smaller sins. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.
