They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Jacob Rodriguez, 64 picks early at pick 104. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

Whatever Fernando Mendoza becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

The Slaughter pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
