A sensible, unshowy class lands the Cardinals a B-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Cardinals did exactly that with Lawson Luckie in the 219th overall pick.

They banked enough surplus on Klubnik to cover a lot of smaller sins. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
