The Cardinals worked the phones like thieves and earned a B. There is reaching, and then there is Bud Clark at the 123rd pick. The Cardinals jumped the board by 75 and dared it to prove them wrong.
The Hill Jr. pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend.
The veteran additions, Jordan Addison chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
