Grand theft in Round 3, Pick 16: the Panthers steal Banks and grade out a D.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Panthers took Jaren Kanak a full 34 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Banks.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
