It is a puzzling start. The Buccaneers had interior defensive lineman, tight end and other spots to solve and reached instead for Rasheem Biles, a linebacker, at the Round 3 slot.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Greene III reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
