There is conviction, and then there is this. The Buccaneers took Gabe Jacas a full 47 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Spending an early pick on linebacker with interior defensive lineman, quarterback and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. They banked enough surplus on Koziol to cover a lot of smaller sins.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
