The Buccaneers worked the phones like thieves and earned a B+.

Whoever sat across the table from the Buccaneers should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

They will need Coogan to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

With interior defensive lineman, running back and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them. Getting Joly where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
