The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Jaguars reached some 128 spots for Stephen Dix Jr., and value like that does not grow back. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Beck. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
