The Jaguars let Beck fall and pounced. Final grade: B. The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Jaguars watched Carson Beck slide 31 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. More right than wrong, and a B to match.
They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They will need Birchmeier to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They will regret leaving safety for another day if the season turns on it.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
