Kanak should have been long gone. The Browns pounced, and earned a B-.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Browns did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

They banked enough surplus on Kanak to cover a lot of smaller sins. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

They trusted the board more than the depth chart.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
