After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Browns committed. Fernando Mendoza is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

The cost of the Zvada reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

They banked enough surplus on Lew to cover a lot of smaller sins.
