When a board-topper like Daylen Everette slides to slot 144, you do not overthink it, and the Browns did not.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The Browns clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before. They trusted the board more than the depth chart.
