Draft Grade — Broncos
Overall B
ValueB NeedB TradesD+ FutureA
Larceny in Round 3, Pick 31 lands the Broncos a B, York and all.

You build a draft on nights like this. Taurean York had no business being available in pick 95, and the Broncos did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.

Pick Analysis
Pick63 Rnd2 Max Klare
A clean, defensible pick in No. 63 with a little surplus value in Max Klare. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick95 Rnd3 Taurean York
They barely believed it either: Taurean York still on the board at pick No. 95. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick108 Rnd4 Zachariah Branch
Zachariah Branch at the 108th overall pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. The roster fit checks out.
Pick131 Rnd4 Jakobe Thomas
A tidy little value on Jakobe Thomas in Round 4, Pick 31, a step better than break-even. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick169 Rnd5 Charles Jagusah
Charles Jagusah at the 169th pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick247 Rnd7 Trey Holly
Good price on Trey Holly in the Round 7 slot, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick251 Rnd7 Damari Brown
Nothing to complain about; Damari Brown went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick255 Rnd7 Denver Harris
Denver Harris at slot 255 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. A want more than a need, though you can never have too many.
