The Saints did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B+.

It is the swing that defines the weekend: Oluwafemi Oladejo in No. 93, a good 51 spots before the room expected him. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.

However the rest shakes out, Grant at that price is a win they earned. A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want.

Devonte Wyatt gives the group a proven body among the projects. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
