Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Broncos spent Round 5, Pick 15 on Braylan Shelby, a name the board had a full 41 spots lower. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

The Scott steal is the beam this whole class leans on. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the linebacker spot they never got to.
