Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Bears spent the Round 2 slot on Aiden Fisher, a name the board had a full 183 spots lower.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

If Sonny Styles and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
