The Bengals ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided.

That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Montgomery pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.
