A respectable, level-headed haul for the Cardinals: B.

For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Cardinals walked out of the weekend still thin at wide receiver, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

Landing Slaughter that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Klubnik has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

No edge and no loss on Arvell Reese in pick 11; it is a wash and a sensible one. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick34 Rnd2 Olaivavega Ioane
Olaivavega Ioane in the Round 2 slot is fair value, right on his grade. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.

Emmanuel Pregnon at the 43rd pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.

Cade Klubnik at slot 75 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.

Diego Pavia slid further than he should have, and the 104th overall pick is lovely value for the quarterback. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
