The Bengals clearly saw something nobody else did in Bear Alexander, taking him 61 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The Thieneman pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

In the end it comes back to Mansoor Delane, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
