The Jets won the night they stopped Orange from sliding. Grade: D.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Jets shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Jets indulged a want in Perkins Jr. while a need in cornerback stayed open.

Reaching for Lomu left real value on the table behind him. On value alone, Orange makes the weekend a net positive.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
