When a board-topper like Chandler Rivers slides to No. 113, you do not overthink it, and the Colts did not. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

The Rivers pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots still on the board. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
