The Commanders cashed the board's mistake on Hill Jr.: D.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Commanders did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. Reaching for Kitselman left real value on the table behind him.

However the rest shakes out, Hill Jr. at that price is a win they earned.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
