Draft Grade — Bills
Overall
B
ValueB+

FutureB-
No fireworks, just a tidy B for the Bills. The Bills clearly saw something nobody else did in Dominic Zvada, taking him 37 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.
For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. On value alone, Moss makes the weekend a net positive.
Job largely done: linebacker settled and 6 of 9 of the wish list covered. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick Analysis
Pick24
Rnd1
Arvell Reese
In the Round 1 slot they get a sideline-to-sideline linebacker, outstanding value to boot. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick56
Rnd2
Jake Slaughter
Value with a capital V on Jake Slaughter in pick No. 56, a genuine coup. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick88
Rnd3
Omar Cooper Jr.
Good price on Omar Cooper Jr. in No. 88, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick124
Rnd4
Jalon Kilgore
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Jalon Kilgore at Round 4, Pick 24 is the proof. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick163
Rnd5
Aaron Graves
Nothing to complain about; Aaron Graves went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick222
Rnd7
Miller Moss
Miller Moss in the 222nd pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick229
Rnd7
Dominic Zvada
Dominic Zvada in the 229th pick is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. A luxury on a unit that was already in good shape.
