FutureB-
A solid, sensible weekend for the Bills: B. You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Bills did exactly that with Dominic Zvada in the 230th pick. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
A whole weekend of picks and offensive lineman is somehow still a want. The Moss value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick Analysis
Pick23
Rnd1
Arvell Reese
In Round 1, Pick 23 they get a downhill thumper at linebacker at a price that makes it sweeter. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick54
Rnd2
Kamari Ramsey
Value with a capital V on Kamari Ramsey in the 54th pick, a genuine coup. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick88
Rnd3
Malachi Fields
They read the board right and Malachi Fields was the payoff at No. 88. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick123
Rnd4
Jalon Kilgore
A slide stopped in the 123rd overall pick, with Jalon Kilgore worth more than the price. The roster fit checks out.
Pick161
Rnd5
Davison Igbinosun
By-the-book stuff, Davison Igbinosun at slot 161 squarely in line with his ranking. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick221
Rnd7
Miller Moss
Miller Moss at pick 221 is money in the bank, a quarterback taken below his worth. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick230
Rnd7
Dominic Zvada
They talked themselves into Dominic Zvada at the 230th overall pick, and the board did not agree. A want dressed up as a pick, at a spot they had covered.
