The Vikings lost the trade table, and the D tells the story.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Vikings shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.

A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. That Hurst pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September. The roster is better shaped than it was, with safety chief among the fixes.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
