A masterclass at the trade table lands the 49ers a B.

When a board-topper like Keionte Scott slides to pick No. 95, you do not overthink it, and the 49ers did not. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The Coleman Jr. reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

The Fitzgerald pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, tight end and other spots still on the board.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
