A weekend that raised as many questions as it answered. The Vikings get a C.

The Vikings put a flag in the ground for Cameron Ball, 82 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Getting Caldwell where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with safety chief among the fixes.

The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
