The Rams looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Roman Hemby at the Round 7 slot regardless, 63 picks early.

That Scott pick is the receipt they will wave around later. That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
