Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Falcons were there to profit. Malik Muhammad, the No. 79 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 110th overall pick.

They will need Hobbs to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
