If you want a masterclass in dealing, watch the Lions, who turned every swap into a profit this weekend.

However the rest shakes out, Lew at that price is a win they earned. It is not that Orange is a bad player; it is that the Lions had louder needs to answer first.

The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. If Hobbs pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
